This is a nice speech by the Alabama Judge that I believe was the one that got into all the trouble over the 10 Commandments. A little bit of history in this. Great stuff.

"We need to stop talking like Christians, and start acting like Christians." America is-and was founded to be-a Christian nation. Why don't we act like it? Too many of our Christian citizens don't! Roy Moore reminds us of our vital calling, on Truths That Transform.

Let's see.
You've already went with abortion and racism and now you want to go here. __________________

Not everyone is a card carrying atheist that thinks America should outlaw the very mention of God's name in public. __________________

This was already gone over in great detail elsewhere.
I'm not feeding into it again, especially as a deviation tactic-not right now. I'll be glad to revisit this again at a later time, seeing as maybe spockman would be the only other person to even bother debating this with you(maybe zod, but he doesn't seem to be around much). __________________

After an exchange with Steve over a similar possibility, I stopped questioning sock accounts or actual individuals at the keys. If someone has to actually play a second character in a forum, that speaks volumes that none of us should have to hear. __________________

Ha, I agree. I wonder if Steve and Tim are one in the same? That was who you were referring to when you mentioned an exchange with Steve was it not? I should explain myself as well. I am indeed Zod. But Tim kicked me off for calling some of his ideas gay. Like a christian superhero, among others. So I joined under another name since I can't get enough of you guys. I never reveaked this as I thought Tim might kick me off again. He did invite me back in the 'superman forum' but by that time I was already Spockman. As proof that I am not "playing a second character," I offer up as evidence that Zod69 has not posted here since Spockman began posting. Geez Pak, you make me feel like I have to validate myself. Low self-esteem I guess.

I like Roy Moore, and I respect him for his views. Its a shame that it was these views that got him removed from office. __________________

His views didn't cost him his job. It's what he did with his views that cost him his job. __________________

He might be able to swing his career into the realm of talk radio or something similar but shopping around his resume for another bench position probably won't prove fruitful. __________________

Too bad. I'd really like for him to get his job as a judge back someday.

Never thought of that. I would listen to him. __________________

I'd say at least (unofficially counting) seven out of ten radio personalities got their start as some sort of media notoriety to begin with. Everyone from Curtis Sliwa(spelling?) to Ted Nugent to Jerry Springer made some sort of headline for themselves first. __________________
