Political Discussion / Politics / President / VP Debate Moderator Biased

Posted:  01 Oct 2008 22:02
Michelle Malkin and World Net Daily have made a lot of noise today about the fact the Gwen Ifill, the moderator of Thursday's VP debate, has a new book coming on Inauguration day about Barack Obama and the politics of race --  it's now leading on the front of Drudge.

Figures.

Wahh......

McCain has no problem with her. Should study a little harder. Nobody needs to help Palin fail in any way, shape or form. She's almost a guaranteed loser for the debate, all on her own.

Don't be a you know what. You wouldn't like if you got to into fixed game either. How would you like to play a basketball game with a referee that was betting on the other team?

Sounds to me like you're already trying to come up with an excuse Tim. Typical!!

She is vying for the second highest office that can be gained, and if you take McCain's health into account, THE highest office. Nobody should take it any easier on her than anyone else.

Unless either she has been giving an award winning performance in previous public appearances or someone drops a very large metal object on Biden, she is going to get eaten alive, regardless of who asks the questions. She has not proven that she has the most basic elements of coherency, let alone leadership qualities.

I'd be willing to place a bet on this one being a very short love affair for the GOP. If she doesn't take her leave soon, McCain is going to boot her as the novelty is no longer worth the hassle.

Here's your stewardess now.

Feel free to point out all the imaginary things she knows better than Biden so she even has a prayer at the debate.

Here's a preview of what we can look forward to. Just imagine it live and unedited.

The only way she's beating him is with both of her hands in his lap. She can field dress that moose, slap some lipstick on it(the hard way) and impress us all.

That, I must confess, I would actually be most interested in watching.

But he's full of it. Crap made to sound good. All you have to do is say bs like you are confident and mean it, and people think you know what you are talking about. Biden should have been a car salesman.

As usual, you can't address anything about her directly. You know she's not the winner you originally thought either.

As far as Biden goes, at least he can answer a direct question, whether you like that answer or not. When Palin is asked, her answer ventures through the programmed response forest and crashes into many trees on the way.

We'll see tonight. Biden is good at trivia pursuit I'm sure but who has the common sense.

Explain how that could possibly be Palin.

Palin did a great job last night. I was very pleased.

She missed a GREAT opportunity to really hammer him, though. She could have really let him have it.

Well yes, but then you risk being considered a partisan attack dog. It's a fine line. Politics is nerve wracking. I'm glad I'm not running for anything. I'd end up beating the hell out of half the liberals I ran into.

I used to be such a nice guy before I started arguing with liberals all the time, Steve. I really was, now I'm just irritable all the time.

Say this what I'd like to do to a bunch of liberals.

What do you think Steve should we create a slap some sense into a liberal club?

I was referring to the part where they were asked about same-sex marriage. Biden said, "Obama nor I support gay marriage." That's a lie. Obama did indeed say that he supported gay marriage. Palin should have pointed that out, rather than say that she agrees with him.

Ever since I've been writing for the newspaper, I've made myself a very bad reputation with the local liberals. No one likes me anymore...

You just got to love the Stooges. They're truly the best.

Slapping some sense into a liberal: I'm all for it, sounds like loads of fun, but you know that would take a LOT of slapping.
