It's not vital. It wasn't even necessary. This was all the McCain camp had. __________________But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles
And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Look it wouldn't be vital if Obama came out of the closet and let everybody know just how much of a liberal socialist he was. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.

We know he's liberal with many socialist plans and policies. Ayers and Wright were nothing but a dog and pony show as an attempt to keep the spotlight and scrutiny off McCain and Palin.
Non-vital, non-issues. __________________But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

I tell you what get Obama to come clean with his liberalism and not attack Joe the plumber for tricking him into coming clean on his socialist, "spread the wealth plans" and it won't be necessary to bring up Obama's history to get at what he is. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.

Joe the plumber misrepresented himself after McCain made such a big deal about him. He earned his spotlight and his fifteen minutes are about up unless the GOP makes him the new mascot.
Obama has been talking about his plans the whole way through while you've been watching smear ads. They've been out there and you've been ignoring them. Not his fault or mine or Joe the plumber's. That's between you and the McCain campaign right there. __________________But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

Quote: You have never heard of that? Were you born yesterday? I LOL'd after reading that one. Of course I've heard of that expression you silly fool. Steve Rogers is the only one who had it right, I meant how does it apply to me? Which brings me to:Quote: You're saying all we see is race when that applies to you libs more than it does to us. It was actually a rhetorical question in the first place. But YOU guys are the ones bringing up race. Who accused Powell of supporting Obama because of race? TIM. Who made a stink about Captain America possibly being black? STEVE ROGERS. I believe the only time I've brought up race is after you guys said something racist or just plain ignorant.Quote: He seems kinda young. Young and angry. I'm 33. Quote: Maybe we can all learn something from our discussions. Doubtful. Quote: Don't be a prick all the time. Then don't piss me off.Quote: You collect comic books Tim, if we met in person, I guarantee that we'd get along very well.

I'm talking about liberals in general. You guys are always ready to yell "racist". As soon as I said a black man shouldn't be Captain America, Pak didn't waste time accusing me of being a racist.
The evidence points to you libs. Look at Oprah. __________________"If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

FOR THE LAST *&^%!%& TIME.
Your comment was either racist, selfish or naive. That was what I said.
Please don't misquote me again. __________________But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

on the Cap thing again
I'm just thinking you are missing the other obvious choice that to change a character's race is to change the character. You completely change the character's history, and experiences by changing his color. It would be much easier to create a completely new character. Call him Smith America or something. It would probably be cool, and I'd go see it, but Captain America is a white guy fighting for everyone's freedom.
One of the aspects of Cap's character is that he stands in stark contrast to Hitler's propaganda. It's ironic, I guess, since Steve Rogers looks like what Hitler would call a super man, but stands in complete disagreement with everything Hitler stood for. Change the character you change all the original meanings. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.
