McCain's VP pick really hit a home run last night at the Republican convention. Finally someone who can relate to average Americans in Washington.

I do wonder what it's like to be totally upstaged by your younger, prettier, more conservative, more exciting , more likable running mate.

Yeah, but I better neither of will ever find out.

Anyway, I jsut want to say that I am satisfied with McCain's choice of vice president. He picked the right girl.

You people are tribalizing your country into 2 tribes: Reps and Dems. That, and your faith based politics is gonna lead you into another civil war.

I think McCain made a great speech last night at the convention, and he was making the point that he will put America first over party. I like that.

I liked what he had to say about ending pork barrel spending. That really got me going. He said he would not sign bills with that kind of spending or veto I guess I should say. Nip it at the bud so to speak.

People may not feel McCain is as good a speaker as say Reagan, but I felt Reagan's spirit watching McCain last night especially when he starting yelling fight over the noise of the crowd. That got me going! I actually felt inspired after hearing a political speech.

I'm convinced the man is a real life hero, and his humility is refreshing.

I acknowledge at the end of the day the Republican Party is like the Democratic Party in that it is a machine dedicated to the acquisition of power. But traditionally the Republicans have been more dedicated to the idea of limited government, economic freedom and individual liberty, which are the big three in my book.
