Pak morality is not dependent on a person's view point. If it were we couldn't justify laws in this country.

Actually, it's more than a view point but basically, that's exactly what it's based on. You have the view point that your rule list from the Bible is a good and proper list. Why? You're not a Jew or a Muslim. Why not? You know slavery and wife beating are wrong(I hope). Why? You either donate blood or you don't. Why/why not? You donate to charity or you don't. Why/why not? You serve in the military or you don't. Why/why not?

Endless choices for endless events, that depending on that particular day, are moral choices or not. How you respond to them on that particular day will be based on your values, or on past experiences afterward filtered through your values.

Every choice, every action, every response- all 'view points'.

You can't legislate morality. Barring dishonest politicians, we have laws to protect our citizens, not to make them 'good people'. You can't make people be kind, or charitable, or honorable. Whose version of those things would we uphold and what penalties would you prescribe for those who don't comply?

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Those are terms you've used on yourself-I've never said either.

I am pretty sure that I've never referred to myself as backward, superstitious, or stupid.

Things you've claimed others think of you and what you do supposedly from me and Robert G Ingersoll. We never spoke ill of you personally.

Before we stray too far, did anyone want to know anything else about the hooker or no?

We were on how one size does not fit all with issues of morality. I had left the option open for anyone to ask the hooker any questions, if they had any about her lifestyle or philosophy or values. We were eventually going to get back to how it's possible for her ton have a moral issue with her work. Later I was going to go back to the issue of why there's no reason to not let gays be as miserable as straight people by getting married.

We got busy on other subjects.

*Brushes away the dust and cobwebs*

This seemed appropriate here. 2 parter.
