They replaced it with an attack on Barack Obama. Thanks to folks like Spencer Ackerman and Keith Olbermann, we've got the real story. To CBS's credit, they posted the original video online. Here it is.

What's even more interesting than the idea that a  presidential candidate got his timeline a bit ca-ca is the idea that the network apparently knowingly edited it in his favor. interesting.

I know one thing I don't take anything that news guy says for the truth. Whatever his name is I've heard him on TV going on and on against conservatives like an attack dog. He's way to biased for me to ever listen to without an opposing view point to even the perspective out.

If too much bias is an issue in watching news enough to not watch, you'd actually have no news left to watch. Is it that this guy bashed conservatives or that McCain actually made himself look 'bad'? You don't seem to have a problem with CBS trying to cover up the latter.

I have to wonder why the edit, they are certainly no friend to Republicans

Considering that they posted the original themselves it might be a ploy of sorts to draw more attention to it. Media sleight of hand.

It takes the smallest of things to destroy a presidential candidate, if they're used properly. Let me be clear, I absolutely do not want McCain in office but that doesn't prevent me from suspecting a railroading when I see one. McCain, it would seem, is gonna get clobbered-according to plan.

Like I have said before, I have abandoned hope for the presidency. I believe our only hope for freedom to survive is to elect Congressmen who will roadblock  President Obama's plans. Of course, not much chance of that happening either.

Exactly.

Never give up hope. It's un-American. What would Captain America say?
