Shaq gets fired from police job for using foul language.

PHOENIX (AP)—Shaquille O’Neal will lose his special deputy’s badge in Maricopa County because of language he used in a rap video that mocks former teammate Kobe Bryant.

I don't know exactly what all he said, but my first impression is that firing a guy for swearing is a little much. Heck, if everbody in the world got fired for swearing there'd be nobody left working. Besides it wasn't like he was swearing while wearing the badge to some old lady walking across the street or something. I mean if he cussed out a guy while writing out a ticket I could see, but while he was doing something else not even related? Who does the sheriff think he is.

I got news for you sheriff I'm old fashioned. Believe me I'm old fashioned, and I don't agree with you.

I wonder who they'll send for the cats in trees now.

Bad bad sheriff.

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

I don't no why but as soon as I read your response the song, "I shot the sheriff" got stuck in my head. Which reminds me of a episode of Supernatural.

Whoa, this is an old post, but I'm replying to it anyway.

That was hilarious! Dean had made a bad joke, I remember that. When that FBI agent was free of the demon's mind control, he said "I just shot the sheriff" and Dean said "but you didn't shoot the deputy."
