This is exhausting bouncing all over since we're all here now. Much better in real time. If it's a money issue I'll gladly donate to the cause.

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Hmm ok I'll look into it tomorrow. If for some reason I don't answer back by the end of the day remind me again, Ok I got to go to the dentist first thing in the morning for a cleaning and filling. This ain't my week I'm telling you.

Oh yeah, well I haven't checked on the technological part yet, but I was kicking the idea around.
I've never been on a chat room unless yahoo messenger counts.
Questions: What would be the benefit over just posting on the board?
Would everybody be on at the same time? Wouldn't that be chaotic?
Not sure I like the idea of being rushed to post my thoughts. I like time to think and collect my ideas plus the fact I'm multitasking, but if you think other people might like a chat room.
Tell me what you know about it, because like i said I've never been on one.

Well instead of jumping from topic to topic and all over the place we could talk to each other at the same time in real time. I can't say things wouldn't be a little hectic at the beginning if you're not used to it but it's a very narrow curve to adapt. All it really is is posting in real time. Picture messenger with maybe 5 people at the same time, which is what we seem to have here at any given time.
And if I haven't said it Tim, thanks for putting up the site. For all our bickering and opposing viewpoints it's been real fun. (even if it was because of Bill O'Reilly telling you what to say against atheists )

But thanks for saying that about the site. As far as me talking on a chat type scenario I couldn't do it that much. I've got to work on all my sites at the same time so I wouldn't be very effective at a steady conversation. I'm looking at doing a lot of work to superherouniverse.com right now. I see some things I might be able to do to make it get more traffic. Any ideas for this site that you think would make it better or bring in more people let me know.

Nah- no chat room please. I like that we have a record going here so folks that don't have as much time (yes, I'm talking about me) can hop in, catch up and offer their two cents.
If we go chat room, then the "mission creep" we already expereince within postings will be all over the map. Perhaps most importantly, the quality of the research will diminish significantly once we're agruing in real time.
I agree that the frequent posting is chaotic, BUT that is only because so many good topics have been generated so fast. I say good work to all for that- keep that up and it will stay fun.
