Now I see the flood thing you bring up.
I read it. They were the only people on earth and then the Babel dispersion happened. I don't have a single reason to believe this and this has nothing to do with the creation of the world and mankind, just the supposed aftermath of that flood.
You know I have a problem with God just blinking it all here; did you really expect me to believe this?
Quote: 6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
None of it makes sense to me Tim, but please accept that I did read it as a gesture of our online friendship here.
Now please tell me everything the bible says about the actual creation of the world and mankind. __________________But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles
And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles
