As to your 10 commandment thought from the bible, you might actually want to read it first before using it to make a point to a Christian.

The commandment you are talking about is actually the First one, "You shall have no other gods before me."  The Second one is that you shouldn't make idols.  It’s found in Exodus 20 if you care to read it.

sorry, i realized i had my order off after i sent. again, a jealous god. but my point was right: There were other gods, yahweh acknowledged as much.

And I have read Exodus, not in a long time.

ME and others have listed many reasons why Bush may have lied, along with links from reputable sources. Check them.

he was shocked, so much so he dove into "My Pet Goat" for another few minutes before flying around the heartland like a coward. You think FDR, Truman or Reagan would've done that?

If a man breaks into my house, and i beat the crap out of someone else, do i still not get charged with assault? Why should he get a pass for a blunder that has cost millions of lives?

He pardoned himself.

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

I believe that the FBI and secret service probably didn't know what was going on when those planes started hitting us and Bush probably just took their advice and jumped on a plane until they could figure out what was going on.

I do admit that it looked bad for him.

You have to wonder though, what FDR or Reagan would do or would have done in the war on terror, it's not like anything we've ever faced before.

I don't think they would have gone into Iraq. I think any president would've gone first into Afghanistan and kept our powder dry for small ops.

To use a comic book analogy, I have thought for a long time that this is more a SHIELD thing than an Army thing.

I honestly think no other president would've taken the secret service's advice to hide. Remember the speech he gave from Nebraska … he looked terrified … not to say he wasn't in a tough spot, but it seemed to me that day, we were looking at a man not ready for what he was facing. I can't see Reagan, Clinton, Bush I or even Ford or Carter looking that scared.

But I gave him the benefit of the doubt, until Iraq.
