At least he didn't murder the President. Actualy no Nixon bugged his political enimies using the power of the state to subvert the democratic process. So, yeah, not quite "telling a few lies" although perhaps he did that too. As to Jackie O. If these statemetns are accurate, she wouldn't be the first grieving widow to imagine conspiracy behind her husband's death. The evidence of a lone gunman in the book despoitory is fairly solid, and Oswald certainly fit the description, and to put it bluntly, Johnson had little reason to kill JFK since arguably he was the one running the country anyway while JFK was on coke fueld hooker binges (if other scandal rags are to be belived). I'm a fairly certain believer in the lone nut theory, the facts just seem to bear it out upon closer inspection, though I don't expect others who disagree to be swayed by it. But in the end, a single persons pasionate asertation of a reality doesn't make that the reality, any more than my insisting I am Captain America makes it so.

Well I wasn't there so I can't pretend I or anybody else can ever say with 100 percent assurance there was no conspiracy or there was, but you have to admit if anybody would know it would be somebody on the inside like Jackie O . __________________ Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running to one, either.

The first lady is on the "inside"? I think that's a bit of a stretch. I don't think any fist lady is involved in or aware of any political activities beyond what they might recieve through pillow talk and their feel good national inititives, so unless she had pillow talk with LBJ, I rhink ir'a un likely that she was inside antying.
