Yes? No?
If no, why not?
If yes, what kind and how much often?
Me:
Yes. Hell yes.
I tend to prefer hoppy beers. Tupper's Hop Pocket is a solid, easy-to-drink American beer, though I think Budweiser bought the Old Dominion brewing company, so that may change. Hop Devil by Victory is a favorite.
But the season's changing, and malty brews become essential. And the occasional stout is a must, of course.
I drink about four to 10 beers a week, but if I'm going out with the fellas, I can put 'em away.
Huh?

Me? No.
Tastes awful. __________________But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles
And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

I hear ya Cap. I love beer- especially while grilling out in the fall weather.
Certain types of hops I tend to avoid. I don't ever know what they're called, but I know them within a few sips. Magic Hat for example, I avoid like the plague, though I repeatedly hear it is awesome- (but mostly from hippies). I'm not sure why- but some hoppy stuff makes my throat close up.
I've been drinking Dominion Ale since I got to NOVA about a year or so ago.
Is this the same stuff you say Budweiser just bought? I hope they leave it alone.
Speaking of- my old man is a Budweiser fanatic and I drink it in solidarity, but thats pretty much where I draw the line. I think I still associate that smell with the feeling that the adults are about to attempt something ill-advised.

It tastes like horse piss. I've read that scientists now say that beer is a taste that must be learned. In other words you kind of force it on yourself over time, and you all have always told me every thing a scientist says is gospel. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.

Danny, I am not a big Magic Hat fan meself. I like the packaging, but the product is underwhelming, at best.
I like Bud from the can (if that's the only route to go), but loathe it from the bottle. Tecate is the same. Go figure.
I think the super-hoppy trend is ebbing somewhat. For awhile, american breweries seemed to be in overdrive with hops, and there is certain point of too much of a good thing is just too much.

inteligent … at least we can spell intelligent, and, speaking for myself, research spurs my thought processes. In other words, I come to conclusions through research.
But since you are a tower of intellect and obviously come armed with knowledge and wisdom well beyond me, bring it. And welcome aboard.
And what does this have to do with beer?

Scientists still say beer tastes bad. You don't have a comeback for that one I see. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.

Some people don't like it; some people do. To say something tastes bad is an opinion, so if a scientist is expressing an opinion, that's his or her right. But it's not a fact or a theory.
And you compared it to horse piss, meaning you've had experience in drinking horse piss.

Seriously if it was an opinion I wouldn't have mentioned it. It was a scientific blah blah blah. Now you want to dismiss this, but tell you, that you came from a monkey and it's gospel. Just don't mess with your beer. Now we see your priorities. So I guess you really don't believe everything scientists say then. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.

Where do scientists say that? I'll say this: Cheap beer generally tastes cheap and not very good. Good beer often tastes very good.
A Young's Chocolate Stout is delicious, for instance.

Hey boogieman did you find this site on a search engine, or did someone tell you about it, or did you just see the link on another board?
I try to keep track of things like that. And welcome aboard. We need as many conservative views as we can get to balance it out around here.
I agree with you our liberal friends research a lot, but their conclusions are much to be desired. It's like having knowledge alone does not guarantee wisdom which is just the ability to utilize knowledge effectively. I personally believe a wise man can get more done with a high school diploma than someone with 10 years of degrees and little wisdom.
Not trying to say our liberal friends are unwise of course. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.

It doesn't hurt. You might want to try researching sentence structure, spelling and punctuation for starters.
