If it hadn't happened something else would have. The terrorists were out there planning, and we weren't prepared.

That's terribly negative and not necessarily true.

There are plenty of positive outlooks in that 'article'.

i gotta agree with tim on this one pakman. sorta. if it wasn't the world trade centers, if it wasn't osama bin laden... than it would of been something and someone else. what happened on 9/11 was a reaction to all the terror the US has inflicted upon the rest of the world over the last 50 or so years. i could cite a few instances as examples, but to be honest... i don't feel like doing all that writing. maybe tommorrow. some of you may be pissed off with what i said, but, than again, americans do tend to subscribe to "revisionist history."

I have to disagree with you on that one unfortunately zod. You might as well call Canada a terror state.

Litter in front of a Mounty and you will have terror redefined for you.

Thought I'd remind you they burned the White House to the ground, once upon a time....

Well they are becoming communistic in Canada, putting preachers in jail for preaching the Word of God.

Look it up on the net, do I got to do everything. You cause me a lot of work sometimes you know. Just once would you just let me go on my memory on a few things. If you can't find it I'll try later, but I have seen it on the net besides the radio show focus on the family where I originally heard it.

If you know me at all, you know I've looked. There's nothing about the Ott case and the other stuff is a little too vague to search, like someone just made it up....

You know now that I think about it Zod, joking back with you like I did isn't appropriate. Your comment shows a deep, deep mine of hypocrisy. You would be all up in arms about thwarting speech for gay rights, or threats to a gay person or someone hurting a Phreatobius cisternarum catfish, but beating the dog doody out of a Christian is really cool to you.

I don't know are you just trying to test the whole, "turn the other cheek" commandment we Christians try to live by, or are you really trying to be humorous? I'm really curious. I mean if it's just a joke then I'm sorry for getting all hysterical, but if you really have that kind of hate for Christianity then you have some issues you need to deal with.

Oh boy, I can't wait to hear Zod's rebuttle. I wonder if he can manage to do it without the use of four letter words?

OK, booger. Put down the paint chips and back away from the computer. To recap: Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. And should fight the terrorists who attacked us, but our fight with them has lessened because of Iraq. My family and I live in DC, and I have an acute knowledge of what these guys are capable of. Frankly, I'm sick of chickenhawk fucks like you, who live in the "heartland," who advocate shit policies of which you'll never feel the consequences.

As far as taking the fight to the terrorists, sure. But, we took our fight with al qaeda to a country that had nothing to do with it. Innocent Iraqis have been slaughtered in the hundreds of thousands because of that. How is that right?
