Anybody catch the new V series? Loved it. It has the same spirit as the original which is probably thanks to Kenneth Johnson's involvement.

I wonder if any liberals are catching on to the alien visitors and their similarities to Obama.

First the visitors want universal health care. They want world wide devotion, they have a hidden agenda. They appear as saviors. The young people are the first to fall in love with the visitors. All the people in church are scared of them. The media is told to never ask anything that would make the V appear in a bad light.

Very thought provocative show. I'm sure the ratings will have to go through the roof or otherwise ABC will quickly pull the plug once they find out V is using sci-fi to make anti-liberal agenda points.

If you haven't checked it out. It's free to watch at Hulu. http://www.hulu.com/v

V did great on the ratings of the first episode by the way. http://www.tvcrazy.net/messageboard/article624.htm

It averaged 14.3 million viewers.

Nobody wants to talk about the stuff I like the best, sci-fi Tv.

I would love to discuss it, but I haven't seen it yet.

I loved the original with all it's antifacist symbology, this one I'm not sure of.

Remakes are rarely as good as the original.

I think this one is going to end up better than the first I hope. The first one messed up by having the Final Battle and then trying to reconstruct a premise where the humans could battle the humans, but gone was all the deep philosophical stuff that made it interesting. Not to mention the effects got cheaper.
