Racially charged Australian TV show skit offends Harry Connick, Jr.

Apparently in a variety show in Australia where Connick was a guest judge, a group came out in black face. Connick gave them a zero, and walked out during the commercial break. Later he was apologized to, but after the incident video clips came out of Connick playing a black minister for a skit on Mad TV.

The group in question acting as the Jackson 5 said Connick took it the wrong way.

Personal opinion

I don't know seems a bit silly to get upset over this. Connick of course was probably nervous that he would be crucified for even being on the show. But what if black people had came out with white face make up? I wouldn't be offended. I'd care less. Really. Doesn't Eddie Murphy do that a lot? He gets praise.

Bottom line. This generation needs to get a life. As a society we all have sticks up our u know what's. Time to chill out before we all die of stress induced heart attacks. We make big deals over every little thing to the point it's just insane.
