Found an interesting article http://www.bpnews.net/BPFirstPerson.asp?ID=30416 A British nurse was recently refused permission to live in New Zealand because she was deemed too heavy by the New Zealand government.
Despite the fact the woman is in good health and currently puts in 60-hour weeks as a nurse, government medical advisors felt her 294 pounds and Body Mass Index (BMI) of 55.2 put "her at a high risk of developing health problems," the Telegraph reported.
One certifying doctor told the Telegraph the woman could develop metabolic problems that could cost the government of New Zealand NZ$25,000.

This could be a warning for America. When government starts handing out healthcare. The government will start to tell you what healthy is or isn't. And what about those who are heavy, but are so because of mostly muscle. One size fits all government plans would likely squeeze those people into their fat category too.
I can see it now. Lose weight or no healthcare coverage. Don't smoke, don't drink or run with those that do.
Just a little warning for those that want free healthcare. Nothings free in this world. It always costs something. __________________Lucas McCain the Rifleman: A man doesn't run from a fight, Mark...but that doesn't mean you should go running *to* one, either.
